Love Stories @ RomanceClass - Best Friends My boyfriend and I have only been going out for almost 2 weeks but have been absolute best, closest friends for about 7 or 8 months. In our first month of knowing each other he started liking me. Unfortunately I wasn't really interested so I decided "Hey he'll get over me if he likes someone else!!" So I fixed him up with my best girlfriend and they went with each other for about 3 months. All the while, though, she told me that she thought he was sweet but she didn't really like him. I thought this was just new-relationship nervousness. Finally she just broke up with him far after they had nothing to talk about. A month later he told me he really liked me...but didn't ask me out. We both had that fear that our friendship would be lost if we broke up and that we might have the same problem he and my girlfriend had; not talking at all. We talked every day about everything, anything, and nothing. He and I became so close he knew what I was thinking. Soon I began to fall in love with him. I loved everything about him: his big puppydog eyes, his smile, his laugh and the way he treated me. Every single person around us thought we were going out. My girlfriend, his ex, told me he said to her that he wanted really badly to ask me out but was afraid of the same things I was, and had decided to go out with me in two years when we would be more "mature". He called me three days later and so shyly asked me if I would like to go out with him. I was so shocked but immediately said "yes". Ever since then I have felt like the luckiest girl in the world!!
