Love Stories @ RomanceClass - She acted as though I didn't exist There is this girl I know, who was once my friend in freshman year of high school. We sat next to each other in science, and we also had fun, joked around, and I loved being with her as a friend. Then winter break came, and I started thinking if she is just a friend, or if she's something more. I had liked a girl before that, and that didn't go well. But something about this girl that me click, and when I came back to school, I totally fell for her. Valentine's Day came along, and so did the dance. I had considered asking her to the dance, but decided against it. I didn't want her to know of my feelings for her. I didn't want to ruin what we already had. But one of my so-called friends decided to ask her for me, and ruined everything. She ended up saying no because she thought I was too much of a coward for not asking her myself. We didn't talk to each other until August of that year. She acted as though I didn't exist. So many rumors flew around the school about us, and we have no idea what to believe. I know she doesn't like me, but the more I try to let go, the more I fall for her. I love her so much, but she doesn't understand. She doesn't know that I would die for her, or would run around the world just to be by her side. She means so much to me; I just wish I meant the same to her. I'm in the middle of my sophomore year now, and things are getting mildly better. She occasionally registers my existence now, but it's still a one-sided ordeal. She's this amazing girl; I never want to forget her. Maybe I'm not for her. As long as she's how she wants to be, I'll be good. I'm waiting, but if the chance never comes, so be it. I don't want her to feel bad for me, because if she doesn't like me, she doesn't. It's her life, and I'm not going to make her decisions and live her life. Nevertheless, I love her.
