I used to have a crush on this guy and his best friend told me he was going to ask out another girl, just because he wanted to warn me so I wouldn't get as upset. So I was hanging out with my crush at my best friends house and I told him I was kind of dissappointed that he was going to ask her out, but I wasn't going to throw a fit or anything. He was really understanding and he nodded. Then he told me that he might ask this other girl out that he had met awhile ago. I was kinda upset then because I didn't know her and the girl he was going to ask out was one of my friends and I thought that she was really sweet. So at the end of the night, when we were all going to leave, my best friend and his best friend (who are going out) went over in a corner of her yard and started making out.
