Love Stories @ RomanceClass - He is amazing First off, let me establish that I have a 6-12 school that I had been going to since seventh grade. It was late Septemeber of my freshman year and there was this new boy in my class [Seth] that I really liked. We had talked a few times and I fell for him more and more. One day in the cafeteria, I was next to one of his friends [Ryan] and I introduced myself. I was really suprised that he knew who I was because he was one of the really popular guys [he was a sophmore], and I wasn't really popular. I found him on Facebook and got his screenname and we ended up talking a lot. I told him that I liked his friend and he said he would try to hook us up. I realized that I started to like Ryan and I was really upset because I knew he would never go for me. About a week after homecoming, my friend spent the night at my house, and we were on AIM and Ryan signed on and my friend dared me to tell him that I liked him. So after an hour long conversation, he signed off with no number, no I'll see you soon, he just said bye. I was devastated, but the next day, I found a rose on my facebook from an Anonymous sender. Monday at school, I was sitting around a table with some of my friends as he walked in and I looked up and we made eye contact and smiled. By fifth period, I was dying. He hadn't said one word to me and we had walked by each other numerous times. I saw him go to the lockers and I got up from my table and followed him, under the pretense that I needed my Spanish books. Ryan was in there talking to Seth and I walked by them. I was pulling my books out of my locker when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and there was Ryan, and at the moment I knew I was making the right choice. He asked me, "Will you be my girlfriend?" and I said yes of course. I wrote my number on his hand and for seven months almost, we talked on the phone every night for hours, after everyone was asleep. For Christmas, he got down on one knee and opened a ring box and said, "Will you accept my Christmas present?" He told me that he loved me and that it was a promise ring and he wanted to be with me forever. He has done three mind-blowingly sweet things for me over our relationship. 1] On Friday, April 4th, the day of his knee surgery [because it got screwed up playing soccer] and the day before my birthday, he came into school carrying a boquet of red roses, a love letter, and a teddy bear. He came to school to give me a present and then left. 2] He came with me and my parents to help set me up at a three week camp, drove back alone with my parents, and then drove up alone with my parents to help pack me up. 3] He woke up at 5:30 to drive into the city with my mom and pick me up at the airport.
