We met at school(as lame as that sounds) and I watched her from afar (although she was my friend). One day I decided to ask her out at a quintessential american high school football game. At first she thought I was being facetious (thanks Mr.K) but I told her that I was serious and the very next Thursday she received the title of "my girlfriend" (apparently she thought I was kidding and declined for a week).
