Love Stories @ RomanceClass - I will see you again someday I reached for you this morning, woke up with empty arms. I remember it perfectly. It was 2 years ago today. When i got the call. A stranger telling me that my husband was coming home..but in a coffin. Caleb was only a year old then, he was playing in the background, my heart stopped and i fell to floor. Somehow i didn't die that day, somehow time has still gone on. I still call your mom on the weekend..yea its good to hear her voice. We talk about ; and she talks about her stubborn little boy. its amazing how much of you lives on in our son. He looks more like you every day. Im learning how to live without you, even though i dont want to. We watch our old family videos sometimes, Im so thankful that God gave me the perfect way to make you last forever. He comes with me on your birthday, flowers in his little hand, he's always been too young to understand, but someday our little man will ask me-who his daddy was, and i'll tell him all the ways i loved you, and all of you i see in him. Even though i still cry every day, and it hurts so bad, our love will never die. It still breaks my heart when our son looks up at me and says "Mommy it's ok, i know my daddy was a hero" and i just smile and try not to cry, as i take him in my arms. Every day i thank God that i will always have a piece of you here with me. I love you and i miss you. The only thing that gives me peace, is i know..i will see you again someday.
