We went to all lengths to love one another, and then to all lengths to put those feelings to rest. The outside influences were so strong on both sides, and the pain became unbearable. It hurt knowing that everything we had gone through was now a comedy for other people to enjoy, and letters sent were being read by them. It hurts knowing I cared more about what happened to you than I even cared about myself. And it hurt knowing that I gave so much of myself to someone who did not appreciate it at all. I went through hell, physically, mentally and emotionally, and I still loved you.I do not know how to put those feelings to rest, I have not been able to put them to rest yet.
