Love Stories @ RomanceClass - You were there for me When I was in 3rd Year in secondary school, I moved from Meath to Cavan. I found it hard to make new friends. Eventually, people began to relise that I was a fun person to be around. From then on I vowed that if I ever came across somebody who found it hard making friends or had just moved house or schools, that I would help them. This year, I'm 16 and in Transition Year or 4th year. My Cooking teachers son moved to our school and ended up in my form class. He didn't know anyone, just like me the year before. People began to take the mickey outta him because his Mam was our teacher. On that first day, he sat alone. I noticed and asked him if it was okay if I sat with him. He said 'yeah, of course!'. I immediately grew fond of him. We were inseparable, we ate lunch with each other, went on walks, went into town together, studied together and it turned out that his whole family had moved onto my street! Such luck :P . When we got the results of our Junior Certificate Exam, there was a big disco on in town. He asked me if I wanted to go with him. I said yeah. On that night, it was really wet and rainy and freezing cold. He gave me his big warm, fluffy Columbia jacket. It smelled just like him, Lynx Original, a scent that I adored. Near the end of the night we went outside for a bit of fresh air. He held me close and said ''You were there for me when no one else was. You consoled me when my granny died, You helped me make friends and you stood up for me when those guys took the mickey outta me for being a teachers son. From the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew that we would become close, but I didn't relise how close!
