And you say he's just a friend.Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Me and this girl have been dating for about 2-3 months. I know its a very short period of time, but things were moving at a very high speed. We both wanted to be with each other, but the only thing that bothered her was that her best friend used to have a crush on me, and she feels that if we got together, she would be betraying her best friend. She told me that, and I understood. Then a couple days later she comes back to me. And then, all of a sudden she pulls the same thing again, but this time I could tell in her voice that she really meant it. She said that things just couldnt work out between us..And she said that she wasnt ready for a relationship anyways and wanted to stay single.. I told her again that I completely understood and that we were probably gonna be better off as friends. Yet still, we were very much in love with each other and have said it to each other. Until I find out that she began dating one of her guy friends almost immediately after. Apparantly he confessed his feelings for her during our break up period. Now I feel as though ive been lied to, using her best friend only as an excuse to break up with me for him. I told her how much I loved and cared for her after this, and she told me that she was torn. But then valentines day comes along, and now shes had it with me..She said that she couldnt talk to me for a while. My feelings are soo strong for this girl. Should I just let it go?! Or should I continue to pursure her?! Our Suggestion: You should let it go for a while. Perhaps your feelings will subside while waiting and if not, you can try to start up a friendship with her and hope it grows into something more again. Good luck!
