Update on i want my ex back...Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi George, I think it was a month ago i told you about my break-up. I was 8,5 years with my ex, and he is now with a new girl. I told you i never knew he wanted to end the relationship, and that i wanted a second chance to prove we were a great couple. You told me to keep friends with him. And i tried with only talking or mailing him once a week. What i think is weird is he gives me mixed signals i can't understand, but maybe you can? Sometimes he appears at my appartment whithout calling first (he says: i was going to my parents (they live a street away from mine) and i thought i could come to see how you are doing), he also tells me jokes he and i know about, he keeps asking if i have a boyfriend yet, he once called home when he knows i'm working at that time (i can see the calle ID and the hour of calling), he's curious about things i do and when i asked him for advice by mail once he then tells me he'll always be there for me and a few lines after he says: you have to understand that the past months and the next months too, we need, for you and for me, to let things behind from the past and begin a new life, turn a new page from our lives. I don't understand.. He's friendly and curious, but then he tells me to move on... Is he over me yet or is he confused himself about stuff? Should i keep being friends, because i want him back, but if he keeps living with the new girlfriend (they only are together for 3 months and they already live together!!)? I don't know how long i can bare this situation... Thanks for any advice... Our Suggestion: He is trying to be a good friend to you. You have two ways to go on this. One is to continue being friends with him and see what develops. He's already living with another girl so you may have to wait a while. Two is to chalk this up to experience and move on.
