Can I save this relationship? Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I met this guy online two years ago. We have gotten so close in that time. We live 1000 miles from each other. We finally met after many talks and we do truly love one another. He is a very sexual, nasty guy and I know this. That is not the problem. When we met, I was so nervous that I couldn't relax enough to open up like we have on the phone for so long. After spending 3 days together, he said that we just didn't click in that way, but he truly loves me. We still talk on the phone every day, even a few times a day. We talk to each other right before we go to bed so we can tell each other good night. I love this man with all my heart and he loves me, how do I show him that I want him more than anything? He is a wonderful man and we have a bond and a closeness that others who have been married 20 years don't have. What do I do? Am I wasting my time? I cry myself to sleep every night needing him. Please help? Our Suggestion: Your experience is not too unusual. You talk like gang busters on the phone and become as close as can be imagined. But then time comes to meet and one or the other of you is intimidated by the physical presence of the other. My advice is to go visit him and first thing you do is jump in bed. This should take the edge off of your nervousness especially if you have nice dinner or lunch plans right afterwards. Good luck!
