Does he like me more than a friend, but is too shy to say it?

Hi I have known this guy for three years and have been hanging out more recently this past year. He always says hi to me and acts sweet to me. He walked me to the bus one night and one day he comforted me when I was feeling down. He told me he missed me after Christmas holidays and has given me lots of hugs. He would ask me if I'm okay sometimes. We don't talk frequently on the phone, sometimes every couple of weeks he'll call, or I'll call him to get together with another friend of ours. My friend said he's always had this thing about me. I talked to him last week and said he whenever he hugs me he feels better for the rest of the day and he hugs a lot of girls. I told him and my friend once that I was shy around guys to do family problems. I have a disability but he doesn't seem to care. I was wondering if you thought he likes me and if he's too scared to ask me.



Our Suggestion:
Nothing you said indicates that he likes you especially.

And he doesn't seem to be particulary shy to me.

The best way to find out is to ask him out for dinner alone and ask him.
