Forgive or forgetSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I have been dating this guy for a few months. We get along very well. There is a connection between us that allows things to progress easily and naturally. We have become emotionally and physically attached to each other. I was just about to meet his sons. The other day I went out with a group of his friends and got very drunk. They were going to continue with the evening and called my boyfriend to come and get me for I was too drunk to drive. I was so embarrassed that I lashed out at his friends and at him. I am 33 yrs old and he is 43 yrs old. I am a very easy going person. That was so out of character for me. Due to my actions and irresponsible behavior of that evening he ended it with me. We have such a solid foundation and great potential for a long term relationship. What can I do to make right what I have done wrong? I know he is hurt and upset with me. I do love him. What can I do to get him to keep us together? Our Suggestion: If you can establish a friendship relationship with him that might work. Being friends would help him get over your misbehavior. Promise him you won't embarrass him again. If he won't forgive you then you will have to forget him. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
