How do I get him to talk alone when everyone is around us

I have a problem with talking to my 21 year old male friend. We are never alone to talk. I feel it is time to talk about how I was disappointed he has A girlfriend and I am willing to wait till his relationship fails with her. There is another issue he has an ex girlfriend who I am very close to that is on our team, they dated two years until they broke up. He told me a week before Christmas he was over his ex I am very close to and she is over him too( I know this because she told me she doesn't have those feelings anymore). I do need to know if he wants more than a friendship and I want to take things further because of a long friendship of five years. He also needs to know I was heartbroken in the past( I don't want to go through another heartache). I am afraid I might get into trouble by getting close to him often.



Our Suggestion:
If you can't get alone together with him then write him a long note and give it to him, or write a long email and send it to him. Or just tell him you would like a chance to talk with him alone.

It is important for you to share your feelings with him because otherwise you will find your friendship faltering because of hidden emotions.
