Do you have some advice for this person?

I wanna know if I will get my ex boyfriend back. I like him a lot we only went together for a month but we talked for a week an a half before then. We had a great relationship. It seemed like he was more into me then me into him. He wanted me to meet his parents and everything. He was a bug-a-boo!

But then one day i notice he didn't call me as much and text message me all day. So i ignored it. But then the next morning he didn't call then I called him and he didn't answer (which never happens). I left him a message and he didn't answer. So I got mad and kept calling and he finally answered and I was like why are you ignoring me and then he said he didn't want to talk about it. So I told him I would call him later. So I called him at like 10:30 and he started talking as if nothing happened so I got mad and told him its not fair I would never do this to you! So whats wrong and then he told me I don't want to get f***ed up w/ you! I was like what does that mean. Then he just repeated it. He told me that his dad was coming down and he didn't need a girl right now, because he had to think about what he's going to do with his life. So I was like okay and stayed quiet and he was like call me some other time and hung up. Which was weird because he was so into him.

Then someone called my phone for him (this was 3 days later) and I texted messaged him and told him to call his friend. Then he answered right what you up to? The i replied nothing and he didn't right back. When most of the time he just replies thank you.

Then I called him 2 days later and I got his voice mail and left a message saying "well I was just calling to see how you were doing so call me when you get this". On his voice mail he said this is to that special girl and you know who you are and played this one song that was an apology song. I also made him the cd. I wanna know if that message was for me but I don't want to ask him and feel stupid. Then I called the next day and his phone was disconneted.

Then he didn't called me until 2 todays later but I was asleep. He left a message saying he was in jail for a day and that he just got my message. So call him on his other cell and he gave me the number and was like how are you? What you been up to? But i didn't call him back. Then that day he called and was like whats up! He kept asking what I was up to. Then he asked if I would take him to Ci Ci's. Then I said I didn't know and he goes your cheap like 3 times. Then I go I don't have a car then he goes I'll pick you up. But we changed the subject and he was like check this out my dad isn't coming anymore and I said oh.

I wanna know if that was a sign if he still likes me are not? Then I let him go. He always says he's shy so I don't know if he still likes he? I wanna know if I still have a chance and he's the best thing that happened to me! I wanna ask him to take me to the DMV office because I need a ride but if he says yes I wont know what to say or how to act in the car. I need good advice do you think theres a chance? What should I do?

Our Suggestion:
It seems like you and your boyfriend had pretty huge problems talking with each other. He was pretty obviously upset about something but he wouldn't tell you - and when he got upset and withdrew you sort of abandoned him. You really need to talk about these sorts of things face to face - not on email and not on the phone. It's only by actually being there with someone, and asking them what is wrong, and really listening, that they will share what their life is doing and you can help.

If you want to get back with him I would make a REALLY serious effort to be a friend and to really talk and listen. That is the key that holds together any relationship. Really find out what he's worried about, what he's thinking about. Let him know you care about those things.
