i'm shy and have very low self-esteem. How do i get her to like me if my friends stand out the most?

Hi. i'm shy and can't get her to notice me. my friends always take the spot light away from me. and when me and her are talking she won't keep the conversation going( she can't be shy cuz she always talks to her friends). everyone makes fun of me in front of her too. how do i get the gut to get to her to like me? how do i stand out? and if i'm talking and someone calls me a retared when i'm beside her what will i do or say? and when just me and her are talking what should i say? thanks

You need to take a new approach.

Don't try to attract her in the middle of a group... you are too shy for that and besides it's tough for anyone to do.

Instead try to become friends with her away from the crowd. Every time you see her in the hallway look her in the eyes, say in a clear voice "Hi" plus her name and give her a big smile. Re-read what I wrote and memorize it do everything I said. In fact start saying hi to a lot of girls and your popularity will rise. Anyhow getting back to the girl... once you feel comfortable saying hi to her then ask her how she is doing and such.

It will take a while, but it will help you gid rid of shyness.
