jealousy overwhelmingSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I have been hurt in the past by lies and infidelity in several relationships and a prior marriage. I am married now to a wonderful man but I find myself becoming overwhelmed with jealousy even if he looks at another women, I get so angry and upset. This happened last night, we were out with friends and a women he went out with a couple times was there with one of our male friends and just to see my husband look at her or talk to her just overwhelmed me with anger and hurt, I just wanted to leave. All these thoughts went thru my head that he really wanted to be with her and that he wanted to talk to her and date her. And I thought If I wasnt there with him and I heard that she was there I would have been even more furious, I feel out of control. I know your suppose to have an open discussion but I feel that if I tell him these things it will do nothing except make him think I am crazy because he is not doing anything wrong and it wont stop that way I think. We did get in an argument last night when we got home just because he talked to her for a minute. How can I stop this uncontrolled jealousy????? thank you Our Suggestion: The strength of your jealosy suggests that you see a professional counselor about it.
