Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
We were dating off and on for a few months, and then we became official. We got really serious quickly, and a month and 1/2 into our relationship he told me he didn't know if he wanted to be with me, and that he needed his space. I gave him his space. Then he told me he wanted to be with me, but take our relationship slow. So I told him I was okay with that. Then a week later he tells me he doesn't want to be in a relationship, and he wants to focus on his career. And he just got out of one serious relationship and he doesn't know what he wants because he still has feelings for his ex, and he's not happy with what where he's at in his life, because of the goals he has. What should I do? Should I wait for him or because I love him so much I feel in my heart he's the one I wanna spend the rest of my life with. I just donno what I should do.



Our Suggestion:
Ask him if you can call him once a week for 15 mins.

You could catch up on what each other are doing and you can let him know you still care (but very subtley). Be cheerful and don't talk about your relationship.

If this doesn't work, you may have to recognize that your feelings and his are not the same and you need to move on.
