Recently he told me he needed space and more time with his friends. I was ok with this, gave him his space, and we were fine and talking again a week later. While talking together over his house one night about what we did during the week that we were apart, I told him that over the weekend, I went to a party with an old guy friend of mine from high school. Him, being pretty competitive asked if I ever kissed this guy. I did not want to lie to him. Me and this guy made out twice drunkenly 2 years ago way before I even met my current boyfriend. He got pretty mad about it and refuses to believe me that this guy is not my ex! The day after I told my boyfriend about this old guy friend, I left him a message telling him how sorry I was for going to a party with this guy. Well my boyfriend has not called me in almost 2 weeks, but has texted me occasionally to tell me he sincerely loves me. A few days ago I texted him and apologized again, and he says hes not ready to forgive me and needs to get over what I did before we can be right again. My boyfriend has treated me so well up until this point, but now he is just avoiding me and seems like he does not want to face the problem. I don't know if I should try calling him(which I haven't done in almost 2 weeks) or wait till he is ready to talk about things with me. I just don't want to push him away by trying to contact him. I am confused about his behavior and am uncertain about what to do. Thank you Our Suggestion: Ask him if it is ok for you to call him once a week for 15 mins. Take the opportunity to see how each other are doing and to let each other know how you feel. Be cheerful but don't dwell on your relationship.
