close but want to be closerSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I have read many questions and answers, i just could not find anything i could really put together with my question. I am 42 years old, and i have a freind that i have had since i was 13 or earlier. He has been through a divorce as have I and we have in t last 2 years since my divorce. We have spent a lot time giving eachother support and being there for wach other, we have always flirted as long as i can remember and we love to give each other hugs and we spend lots of time laughing and joking with eachother and we can tell one another thigns that we can not tell anyone else. We talk about what we want out of a relationship with eachother. We want the same things and we like the same things. we both value this freindship very much. We are getting closer everytime we spend time together but we refrain from the lusty things that can happen..I have appointed myself to be the one to keep him cheered up when he is down and he has become my protector and my muscle. My question is would it be too soon to persue a more personal relationship and risk lossing the freindsship we have built? i have been divorced for 2 years and he for 10. There is nothing we dont know about eachother. I am just looking to be with someone that i can grow old with and enjoy the time together. Our Suggestion: Life is short so go for it. Tell him how you feel and that you would like to get closer to him without threatening your friendship. Since you are so close this should be easy. Good luck!
