Visitor's Question: there is a girl that i've known for a few years, and within the last year we've started seeing each other more and became friends, as opposed to acquaintances. about 2 1/2 months ago we were both in the wedding party for a friend of ours. the day before the wedding, and during the reception it felt like she was giving me more attention than usual, with prolonged eye contact, and standing/sitteng more closely to me. the following week i was gone on a trip with my family. when i returned to town i called her and she suggested we hang out, which had never happened before. we set up a meeting for the next day, and from the tone of the conversation it seemed important to her that we see each other. maybe i'm just imagining that. when we hang out we often end up alone watching movies in her apartment, we talk and joke through much of the movie, often times she slaps me very gently on the arm when we joke, and we end up leaning in towards each other, but have no contact other than the slaps. she's been out of town a while and got back 2 weeks ago, but the first time we were togther since she returned our friends treated us like we were a couple, which has made me feel awkward when i'm with her and them, since i'm unsure as to how she feels about me. normally we communicate via text messages. but since last week, our conversations haven't been much more than "hey, how you doing?". does any of this point to us having a potential romantic relationship? am i imagining things or is she giving me signals? is there a point to the paragraph preceding this one? is this question just entirely too long? thankx. thankx a lot. Our Suggestion: It seems like you both are attracted to each other. Why not tell her that you are "developing feelings" for her and see how she responds.
