Visitor's Question: A month ago I ended an abusive relationship with my ex. we have a 6years old girl togather,but I got restraining order against him so that he can't bother us anymore. It's been only a months but I just met someone who is 35 single, loves children(I am 32). He is a law enforcement officer in town. It happens to be he is my seconed cousin's wife's brother. He plays with my dauther like that is his own and he is offer me to install a security door for my condo since I was afraid to go back to my home. I just can't stop thinking about him every single moment and I often catch myself smiling just by thinking about him. My daugter teased us at the dinner, so I think he is sensing that I am attracted to him. He is coming tomorrow to finish up the installation of the door tomorrow again. I don't know what to do anymore. I like him so much but I don't want say that I do because he knows whatever happened with me and my ex just happened a month ago, but I can't eat or sleep because I've been thinking about him like crazy!! what should I do Our Suggestion: As you suggested, this is definitely a rebound romance. After all those years of abuse, you have found a nice decent man. So naturally you begin to fall for him. Hopefully he recognizes this too. In case he doesn't, take a short minute to mention to him that it is sos nice to have a good man after years of abuse but that you are aware that even though you are charmed by him, it may be a rebound. This will bring the subject out in the open and he may want to say something, but even if he doesn't, you can be sure he is aware of the situation. Naturally, you don't want to scare him away, so make this conversation as light and friendly as you can. Make sure he knows you care about him. Good luck!
