what to do????Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: we dated for a year and a half, and broke up a few months ago. she says she loves me but the feelings arnt the same. she wanted me to propose but i drug my feet to long. i was never hurtful or mean, and i feel we separated because of the things i did not do.i smoked and was lazy kind of a bum. now i succesfully quit the old habits, and work out regurlary. i know i love her and want to provide for a family. please help me! i feel like half a man and cant seem to show her im worth it.also she used to b obsessive and overly jelouse, now the tables have turned. what to do? Our Suggestion: Seems like you need to do some work on yourself. Show her you love her by changing yourself for the better. You've already taken steps in this direction and this is the way to go. Look sharp and be sharp. Cleanup your act as far as haircut, clothes, fingernails. Cleanup your language and the things you talk about... read the headlines of the local paper everyday so you know what's going on. If you are out of school then take an evening class to show her you are interested in improving yourself. If marriage is still a possibility, go to a bookstore and buy a book on how to have a successful marriage and offer to let her borrow it. These are just examples of things you can do. Some of them you might not find important to you and that is ok. Just as long as you are working to make yourself better in her eyes. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
