Does my girlfriend really love me?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: My girlfriend and I have been together for since the beginning of february 2006. We both have been through a lot together all ready like pregnancy and her parents and im curious if she really loves me or if im just jealous. Well what it is is that when were together wether it be just on the phone or out together she'll tell me she loves me and we both go back and forth doing this the whole time we're together, although when we are around a bunch of people in school or her friends its really quiet or its just bye when she leaves for class. I dont want to really break up with her but more get her to show she loves me. I do believe she does its just is she embarresed around other people. Everybody in our school know we're together, either they ask or they see us attatched at the hip.<----(mutual) so that really dont get why she wouldnt say it. We've talked about the rest of our lives together and she has been the one to start the conversation at times. In december im getting her a ring and she is toatally stoaked about it. She has written notes and made little cards then put them in my locker. But like i have said around people it "thanks", "bye" or "i know". Is it me being paranoid or is something wrong? Our Suggestion: It's not unusual for one or the other of a couple to be reticent in a group of people. They feel shy about showing their feelings. This is bad enough for a bf/gf but if you get more serious then this difference can become a bitter thing in your relationship. You have discovered that already. Try to work a deal with her where she will give you some form of affection in a crowd. It doesn't even matter if it's obvious to the rest as long as you two under. Maybe a wink could mean "I love you" or an open palm means a kiss. This way she won't be nervous about showing feelings in public and you will have the fun of having love and kisses. Good luck!
