I was given a seat at the back of the office next to this cool chick. She had a swagger about herself was a real free spirit. I could tell that she was one of them confident girls who had obviously broken a few hearts in her time. Normally, I’.d stay away from these kind of girls but this one was different. We hit it off immediately, and made each other laugh at the slightest little thing. We shared the same sense of humor and loved the same things. I thought we were made for each other as we became inseparable. In fact I know she couldn’.t cope without me. I practically ran her life in work and made sure she got through the day without any stress. I think she had a life outside of work, but I never let my thoughts go that far. She mentioned some dude called Paul or Peter or John but I pretended that I hadn’.t heard what she was saying. We had planned to spend the rest of our working lives clinging to each other and entertaining one another until we ran out of things to laugh about. But recently my life has been turned upside down.
