Visitor's Question: I have been working with this guy for about 2 years now...I went off to school and came back to work...recently he started talking to me (like small talk) but he has really got me interested and I think he is really cute and stuff. The thing is he is now my supervisor (but a year younger) and I think the reason for the talk all of the sudden is because I work with him. We work together all the time but I want to know if he is interested or not, and also if he has a girlfriend. We are getting to know each other little by little each days...any advice you could give me? (I am kind of shy when it comes to guys and relationships) Our Suggestion: It sounds like you're on a great path, with lots of friendly, small talk. The only person who knows if he has a girlfriend is him of course :) But things like girlfriends and wives tend to come up in conversation eventually. Keep telling him about things you're doing and your plans for the weekend. He in return will be sort of dragged into sharing the same information about his own life, and if he has a girlfriend she is GOING to come up eventually! Of course he could lie and hide her presence from you but if he's that slimy you'll find out pretty quickly in other ways and can drop him like a rock. It sounds like he likes you if he actively makes time to talk to you, so just keep talking and flirting and get to know each other better.
