I might have a time limitSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I am 15.5 and she is 16.This wouldn't be a problem normaly but she has only ever dated guys 4 years older then her.I first became friends with her when one of my school friends asked her out (even though she had a boyfriend). A month later she broke up with her boyfriend and gave my friend a chance, but he turned her down. Ever since she has been eating lunch with me and hanging out with me at school (but only as friends). She has recently started being pretty flirty twords me and I was planning to ask her out soon,But we haver never even seen each other outside of school.Which is probably a problem. I haven't been able to build up the courage to ask her out and now it's winter break and I won't see her again for two weeks. I'm worried she might get back together with her ex or someone new over this time.I can only get her phone number through a phone book.Should I ask her out over the phone this way,or should I wait until we are back in school? How should I approach this situation and do you have any advice? Our Suggestion: My advice is to ask her out and do it quickly. If you wait around someone else might get to her first. Get her number from the phone book or one of her friends, call her up and ask her out. She doesn't want to be without a b/f during the holidays. If she says yes, then you will need to arrange for some get together and some exchanging of gifts. For her, think of dark chocolates and a stuffed animal. Since she has been going out with older guys you will have a challenge, but if you just be a nice, communicative, compassionate and affectionate friend you should do well. Good luck!
