confused....how can i know if he really likes me?

I've been reading all of the answers to the questions that might help me, but I can't know for sure if I won't ask...Ok, so I like this guy, I've already told him about how I feel, but he didn't tell me that he feels the same...I know him for 3 years, but this year I realised that I like him...I have a lot of fun with him and his brother, we're really good friends, but I can't be sure if he likes me more than a friend. He likes to make fun of me, but in a playful way, he's really patient with me, not like with other girls, we talk a lot on the internet...A few times, when a friend tried to slap me for o being sarcastic or I don't know whta, he actually told them to stop or punched them...He's really nice to me, but sometimes when his friends are around, he doesn't act exactly how he acts when somebody isn't around....With all this, I stil can't be sure if he likes me or not...I'm afraid that he may think of me like a friend and not like a girl friend....I want to know how you guys see this situation...Thanks!

It sounds like he probably likes you.

Try telling him how you feel again and ask him how he feels.

My guess is that he will say he likes you.
