Was a friend, now I want herSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: This is kind of an odd situation for me. i just got out of a relationship that was 2 years in the making, but this other girl (lets say BE) that i used to be good friends with is so attractive-personality wise-and what i want for a life long partner. basically what happened is that my ex went to the same school and they hated eachother, which meant that i was "not allowed" to be freinds with BE, and i didnt talk to her. ive always had feelings for her, even slightly when i had my ex. but over the last couple of days ive grown to love her and i have appoligized for cutting her off over the past 2 years and she sent me back a letter saying that she is a forgiving person, still loves me (?), and doesnt want to see me get hurt. i think this is just a friendly gesture but im not sure. we have talked online a little. i know that she is a very respectible person and wont jump into relationships but we have always been close when we do talk. she likes to party and everything, but she doesnt party irresponsibly. i just want to get closer to her before i go back to school so we can always be good friends (not necesarily being bf/gf, but i want those doors to stay open if our relationship doesnt blossom right away) but i dont really want to give her a clue that i like her as much as i really do and scare her away and would lose it if i lost her. i really appriciate your opinions, but PLEASE HELP ME!! Our Suggestion: You are in a friendship relationship with a girl you love. You don't want to tell her for fear of ruining what you have with her. The way to go is to continue contacting her and building your relationship. Do this by communicating (sharing information,) having compassion (sharing feelings gently,) and being affectionate (complimenting her, hugging, etc.) Trust, honesty, and physical closeness will grow out of this. It sounds to me like you have a good thing going. Good luck and Happy New Years! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
