Visitor's Question: i was seeing my ex for about 2 years, we broke up about 6 months ago and then she came running back about 4, we got back together and things were more amazing than ever. The problem is, bout 2 months ago her parents found out she was seeing me again and have forbidden me from seeing her, she's had her mobile and computer taken away and she's not allowed to speak to me. She's 17 so i can't understand why they're ruling her life, its hers to live. She still loves me and misses me but doesn't speak to me out of fear of what her parents will do, i need help because i miss her so much please help me!! What can i do?! Our Suggestion: Her parents told her why she can't see you and she told you. But, you have left that information out of your question which makes it difficult to give advice. Whatever the reason, her parents do have the right to control her life until she is 18. At that time she can move out of the house if she wants to. But if she will still be in h.s. or going to college she will still be under their thumb for financial reasons. What comes to mind is that you could write her parents a letter explaining how you see things and making compromises or concessions where you see they are needed. Good luck!
