how can i stop feeling like this?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: My girlfriend and i have been going out just over a year now, i am 20 and she is 18. We live about 15min drive apart and it has always been hard for me as my girlfriend likes to party alot and go out to bars and clubs which im not really into and much rather stay at home, when i do go out with friends to clubs or bars i just find myself worrying about her or just not really enjoying it. But when i spend the nights at home and shes out in clubs or pubs i find it incredible hard not to worry about her or to try focus on somthing else. To make it worse a few days ago whilst she was out in clubs she went back to another mans house n sleept with him ,she said it ment nothing and there was no feelings between them, and that she was just scared about being in a long term relationship at such young age. She is now sure she wants to be with me and would never do anything like this again. I belive her when she says this and were back together. But now i find it even harder not to worry about her when she goes out, really hope can help me Our Suggestion: The world is full of things to be jealous about. Having trust in your g/f is an important part in keeping jealousy away. Unfortunately, she broke the trust when she slept with the other man. You seem to have worked your way out of that problem but you find your jealousy has increased. This is entirely natural and it will be a while before you build back your trust to where it was. One way to fight jealousy is to treat it like an enemy. Whenever it rears its ugly tell it to go away and stop bothering you. After doing this 100 times the jealousy will hopefully give up and leave you alone. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
