Younger Man and Long distanceSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi, I am falling in love with a younger man. He is 21 and I am 32. He lives in another country. We both have known each other for sometime since our families are friends and things just started. We talk a lot through the internet. We have a lot in common. However, He is just starting out his career as an engineer and will be very sucessful in a couple of years. I am a sucessful attorneys. My family thinks I am crazy becasue he is too young and since I am sucessful attorney...I should be involved with someone at my level. I have never felt what I do with him. He wants to move here but it will take him at least a year or so....What do you think I should do? Am I too old for him? Should I just stop it all? I am great when it comes to the legal system but love is another story. Please advise.....Thanks, Our Suggestion: My advice is to wait until he comes to the country where you live. This will give more time for your relationship to develop at long distance and when he arrives you will find more about each other. Regarding the age difference: most people will say that "age doesn't matter." But I see, from my work as an advisor, that age frequently does become a problem. For example, the younger one wants to party a lot and the older one does not. Or the younger one decides that they haven't had enough time to discover themselves. This is just a mild warning of what could happen. I wish you well! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
