unique situationSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: first off, i've written to you half a bajillion times before and your advice is awesome so thanks in advance =] now to the problem. i like this guy who's been my best friend since third grade and i know he likes me back. we've kinda/sorta been going out for the past month. we've been holding hands, hanging out, eating lunch together, flirting, stuff like that. the problem is, i'm 6' and he's 5'2", so naturally everyone tends to make puns about the fact that he barely makes it to my shoulder. i don't want this to infringe upon our relationship because i know he *really* likes me and he'd be heartbroken if anything happened to us just because hes shorter. so what do i do?!? Our Suggestion: This not an unusual problem at your age. Of course your case is more of a problem than most. Remember he hasn't reached his height potential yet and may still shoot up and be taller than you. You, however, are probably done growing. Meanwhile, you will have to put up with jokes. It might help if you joked along with them. Your BF could say he's thinking of buying stilts! Only do this (make jokes) if you feel comfortable doing it. So have fun, enjoy your life!
