Not sure how to proceedSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I met this guy in early December 2006, we hit it off immediately. Long talks, spent quality time together, heck he even cooked dinner for me one night. As time as moved on his behavior has become distant. Last week he came over so that we could talk. During this talk he admitted that he was messed up and not in a position to trust any woman. After 10 years of marriage he discovered his wife had been cheating with the same guy for 8 years. They have been seperated for roughly 10 months now. I totally understand his position but need to know if this is someone that I should continue to see. When we are together it is like majic. He even stated that we are so much alike that it scares him and that he has to keep me out of his mind. His behavior when we are together leads me to believe that we are in the early stages of a relationship. We have had sex and it has been da bomb!! But with this new revolation about not trusting women at this time, I am not sure if I want to stick around for him to realize we have something here. I care deeply for this man. he has stated that he dreams about me constantly but made a point in saying "I haven't even been seperated for a year yet". Not sure what that meant nor did I ask. At the end of this 3 hour conversation, we ended up spending the night together and it was AWESOME all over again. Please help me to realize if this is a waste of my time or is this someone I should invest time into. Our Suggestion: You've only known him for three months. That isn't a large investment of time. I would recommend that you give him at least six months before trying to make any decisions. Continue to discuss his loss of trust with him and express your concerns about it. Probably by the time six months rolls around you will have a better feeling for how to proceed. You definitely have reason to be worried. And what is the story with the separaation? Is he definitely going to get a divorce? Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
