What to do ???Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I'm In a relationship with my sons best friend .I am 49 and he is 30. He says that he loves me and has for along time.We had a summer of thrill of the chase relationship 8 years ago. I stopped comunication wiht him for the last 2. He has continued to pursue me and says this is what he wants. He doesnot want to be friends with my son anymore, because he wants to be with me. He says that he loves me because I am an older womanHe has tried over time to contact me but I refused. Now I have given into this because I do love him to and always have . How do we tell my son about this relationship? and is this healthy? Our Suggestion: Your son must have suspicions already. So, sit down with him (I'd suggest just you) and tell him straight out what the situation is. Whether your relationship is healthy is up to you two. As long as you are both getting the elements of a good relationship you should be ok. Those elements are communications, sharing feelings, and affection. These lead to trust, respect and honesty.
