Visitor's Question: Hi, Well early October my ex left me, I was destroyed, didn't feel I could tell anyone close to me, so I turned to a new friend who I'd only known 2 months. He was my new housemate and turned out to be so so supportive- we're best friends now. He himself had been having relationship problems with his gf of 3 years, and things got too far, it ended up geting physical between us, but not emotional. And 6 months down the road we're both different people. We spend all our time together, he hugs me and kisses me on the head all the time, and yeah we still have a physical relationship, but we try to stop that as much as we can. He's on and off with this gf/ex gf... He cares about her a lot but tells me he doesn't love her. They argue constantly. I need to figure out if i'm just a rebound, sort of replacement for this girl, or if he might really have feelings for me. He always says I'm too good for him, why do I put up with him, and one day when he's all alone he'll track me down and make a move on me. But maybe I'm getting to the point with him where I really want him- sometimes I think he really wants me too, but how can I find out without affecting the friendship we have? I dunno what I'd do without him being there for me... Thanks so much for the help, I really need it xx Our Suggestion: You are going to have to have a talk with him and tell him how you feel. There is a small chance that it will cause a rift in your relationship but it is worth the risk. Besides from what you have said, it seems that he is also attracted to you. I think it is part rebound, part sex, part friendship, and part romantic love. This is not an easy thing to figure out without talking it over with him. Good luck!
