How to Rekindle Her Love

Visitor's Question:
A few months back, the woman who I loved and knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, dumped me. She gave me a few reasons, but when I asked for more details, she avoided answering. Problems started when she was told she should go back into treatment. You see she is anorexic, as well as bi-polar, so dating her was very hard from time to time. Anyways, her doctor started to tell her that she should resume treatment before she lost too much weight, and she began to push me away almost immediately, she would avoid talking to me, and only talked to me during lectures. Then one day, she asked for a break. We got back together a few weeks later, but sure enough, she dumped me again.
She later told me that I was a great friend, like a brother, but she couldn't see a relationship with me because she did not want to hurt me again. After she told me this, I tried to move on. I've dated other women, but all of these relationships have felt like friendships, because I still love my ex. After numerous failed attempts at relationships and forgetting her, I am lost. Is there any way to win her heart back? I know I should try to move on, but I can't, because at the end of the day, I still love her, I still miss her, and these problems are compounded by the fact that I see her often, even after I distanced myself for two months. Is there anything I can do? Is there any way to rekindle her love?

Our Suggestion:
You rekindle the love the same way you unconsciously fell in love.

Three major aspects of a successful relationship are: communication (sharing information), compassion (sharing feelings), and affection (complimenting, smiling, touching).

Also make yourself more attractive: if you are a sneakers, blue jeans, teeshirt, backwards hat guy then try dress clothing (dress shoes, etc.) Make sure your hair and the rest of you is groomed. Get buff. Watch your language.
I know this sounds grim, but times are tough all over.

There are many ways to become more attractive... think hard about it.

Good luck! George
