I don't get know he wantsSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: My boyfriend and I have been together for three months. He used to tell me how he felt about me, like how he loved me more than anything, he wanted to be with me forever, etc. And I know I'm only 17, but I really feel that I'm in love with him. I'd do anything for him. We haven't done anything sexual at all, either, so it's not that. I really feel commited to him and I'm willing to work through any problems to stay with him. The problem is, he just seems to be withdrawing from me. We got into a long argument that lasted almost a week before he said he was sorry and he didn't mean the things he said, and that he needed me. When we were fighting, he called me a burden and said I make him try too hard to make him happy. But then he said he didn't mean those things, and he didn't know why he said them. Since that argument, though, like I said he's seemingly more withdrawn, he hasn't told me he loves me to my face in over a week, and he doesn't make much effort to be close to me. No holding hands, or hugging, or anything. I don't understand why he's being like this, I don't know if he wants to break up, or what. When I confront him, he says he loves me and that he won't ever dump me. So I'm just confused and what his problem is. He's causing me to feel very insecure about our relationship. -Frustrated Our Suggestion: I don't think he is telling you the entire story of how he feels. You should have more heart-to-heart talks with him and see if you can get him to confess what is bothering him. It may be leftover feelings from your fight. When you talk with him do it gently and lovingly otherwise you may find yourself in yet another fight. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
