i want him backSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: my boyfriend broke up with me just over 5 months ago. for the first month we were in contact quite a bit but eventually this fizzled out. during this month i tried twice to get back with him but he said he was enjoying being single and didn't want a relationship. i missed him and have never really stopped missing him but tried to move on. i dated other guys and lost weight and spent a lot of time looking out for myself and feel that i have done a lot of self improving. after no contact for 4 months i decided to send him a text and see how he was. he asked if i wanted to meet up to catch up. i accepted and last week we went for lunch. it was lovely. i don't really think it could have gone better. the conversation flowed as if we hadn't lost touch. he complimented me on how well i was looking and i caught him looking at me a few times when he thought i wasn't looking. he also kept touching his leg off mine and moving closer to me on the bench where we were sitting. he was wearing a ring i gave him when we were still together that is inscribed with both our names and our anniversary date. we talked about relationships. he mentioned how he thought being in a relationship was better than being single. he said that he had heard from a mutual friend that i was going out with someone else, which isn't true. he talked about people he had slept with since me and mentioned that he was going on holidays with a girl in a few weeks but also said that there had been no one since me. we got on really well and it was great to see him. i really do miss him. now that i've seen him more than i did during those few months when i hadn't seen him. i really want to get back with him but i don't want to rush things. i want him 2 want me. i've tried to appear happy and radient and confident and unattainable as i've read on your website that guys usually want what they can't have but at the same time i'm afraid if i don't act soon he'll find someone else and i'll miss my chance. i see this girl that he's going on holidays with as a major threat. what am i to do? Our Suggestion: You seem to be doing exactly the right thing. And so far, so good. Except for the holiday everything's coming up roses for you. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I can't think of anything specific to do except maybe schedule a date for when he gets back. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
