Visitor's Question: so i met this girl on the bus almost 5-6 months ago and have been in love ever since. i can tell you one thing, shes not normal. so i asked her teacher what was wrong with her(because she never talked to anyone and never looked at anyone). the teacher said she is severly autistic. now that didnt stop me from liking her. every once in awhile I will catch her looking at me and when my eyes catch hers she looks away or lets out a gasp then looks away quickly. i sit next to her everyday on the school bus and she doesnt normally mind but sometimes id notice her looking uncomfortable so id ask would you like me to move to another seat she would smile and nod yes or no or just not answer at all. sometimes i see her scooting towards me in the seat and when i see that she scoots back to where she was. i talk to her alot and she kinda just looks out the window and every once in awhile id see a smile or smirk. ive told her howw much i care already and that im there to protect her. what do you think is going on Our Suggestion: What is going on is this: she is acting autistic and you are acting loving. Summer is coming soon and if you want to see her over the summer you had better start working on that problem now. Have you ever tried communicating with her in a written format? Maybe you could slip her a piece of paper and a pen and write down and say "what is your phone number?" Also giver her a piece of paper with your name and phone number written down. Also, ask her if she uses the internet and see if you can communicate that way. If nothing works, you will see her when school starts up again. You are doing a good thing. Congratulations!
