I want her back, but should I risk it?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: I am currently in high school and I've been in a relationship that most would find a little out of the norm. Well we started going out and dated for a little over a year and a half and she broke up with me because we seemed to do the same old thing, but at that time neither of us could drive so we were pretty restricted. And even though we broke up she is still my best friend and I can't stop thinking about her. We still talk on the phone, alot, and we tell eachother pretty much everything, so I don't know if its worth risking our relationship. I always feel the tension of my feelings when I'm around her and I try not to let them show, but I know she picks up on it, and it's hard to tell if she likes me or not, it depends on the day. I can't stand to being just friends, but I can't imagine her out of my life. It's pretty much mental torture when I think about it, so I thought I'd ask, do I keep a great relationship yet suffer, or do I risk it and hope for the best... Our Suggestion: Pose the question to your friend as a hypothetical situation. Ask her whether it would be better to stay with a beautiful friendship or risk ruining it by trying for something better. She will recognize it for what it is, but she can answer honestly without either of you threatening the friendship. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
