Visitor's Question: we have been dating for 11months then on tuesday, she told me that we should take time apart so she can figure out what she wants out of a parnter and to figure herself out, some of the issue were that i wasnt respectfull enough, we hit it off from the first day and we were both in love and chemistry passion was there she was just unhappy with some of the things i did, no cheating, thursday and friday we hung out and i told her that i am changing and really am, but that i should just respect her and give her space, then on saturday i went into her work to see how she is doing and she was suppuse to come over that night, but she called me that i didnt give her space so shes not coming over, then sun and mon i sent her 6 e-mails and talked on the phone and she is youre still not respecting my wishes i cant do this, then finaly tue i told her look i am sorry but its hard to not contact and i wont contact you for a while to show you that i respect you, how long should i wait to contact i was thinking 2weeks i dont want it to long because shes going out with her friends to see what other guys are out there, then in 2 weeks i was goona ask her to coffe and just tell her look i know that i made mistakes and am working on them and i love her very much, but how long should i wait and what steps should i do. thanks Our Suggestion: Two weeks is a good amount of time to give her before going out for coffee. After that ask if you can call once a week for 20 min to catch up and so you can remind her that you love her. This will give her a good sense of space and also give you some contact which you need.
