Just friends? Suggest Advice Do you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: okay so there is this guy he's one of my friends. And I know he likes me because he told my best friend, who told me! he calls me every night but, i rarely ever pick up. He talks about me all the time and he want's to ask me out. but the thing is he doesn't know that i know all of this. and the worse part is i don't feel the same way about him. So i wan't to let him know that i just want to be friends without hurting him is that even possible. Considering he doesn't know, that i all ready know he is going to ask me out. so is there even anything i can say that would help?? I mean i all ready tried the calling him friend and saying he's a great FRIEND but i don't think he gets it.... Our Suggestion: Sometimes you have to tell people truth that hurts. Answer the phone and tell him you heard that he likes you but that you want him to know that you just like him as a friend. He won't be happy about this but it is better than wasting his time and then hurting him anyway. Good luck!
