At SchoolSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hey there. I have a particular situation at school that I would like help with. It may seem kind of complicated, but please bear with me. First of all, I've been friends with this girl, and we've recently started going out. We've been together outside of school several times, and we have kissed(simple kisses on the lips)several times as well. That was during the summer. I had invisioned initially that we would be spending a lot of time together at school, and kissing and all that. However, once school started, we talked a little bit during homeroom, but we haven't been more intimate than that. It's almost as if we've moved back to the shy friendship stage we were at before we started going out. Naturally, I talked about this with her online, and we discovered that we are both a little unsure of how to display this whole relationship while at school. She does have friends, and usually hangs out with them during lunch. Now I don't want to cling uncomfortably to her too much, but I don't want the relationship to slip from romantic to casual. Do you think that I should strive to make romantic gestures(of course not real intimate ones)while at school? I feel that doing that would keep our romantic relationship kindled. Now, I know you don't know her personally, but if you could give me any kind of general advice for this situation, I would be very happy. Thanks a lot. Our Suggestion: Naturally, you should be giving each other hugs whenever you see each other. Next, if you know of a place where you can kiss at school, you two should set aside one day a week for kissing at lunchtime. Try to get together after school...even if you have to join a club to do it. Hope this helps some! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
