How do I get Over Him?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Right. Well. My problem is this : I really fancy my art teacher. He's 30 years older than me, and I know I can't have a relationship with him or anything. Whenever he helps me in art, he's always really close, you know, so he can draw and help me properly, but I always glance side-ways and get distracted, and study his face and stuff, and I try not to, but it's like an in -built function. He always smells really good, and I always like, inhale his scent when he's near, and in class, I often look round to see where he is, and outside of class, on fire drills or whatever, I always watch him, and follow him with my eyes. Any time he leans over, I have to check out his backside. Again, that's an in-built function, even more so than checking him out when he's close to me. Anytime he compliments my work, it makes me feel really good about myself. I know that should be considered as a good thing, but with anybody else I never believe them, and it just embarrasses me. I can speak to him okay-ish and stuff now, after a very long battle with myself, but it's just really starting to get to me now. I've liked him since I started secondary school, 3 years now, and I just want to be able to stop it all.... any tips on how to get over him? Our Suggestion: There is nothing wrong with your feelings as long as you don't act on them or become too obvious. You should also make sure that your feelings don't prevent you from having relationships with boys your own age. It isn't unusual for boys and girls to get a crush on a teacher. In fact, it is fairly normal. Just don't let it become an obsession. Maybe you should let your mother know about this... but keep it casual. She will most likely be very understanding and it will help you to let your "secret" out. This will help you get over him. Good luck! George --Your Friendly Advisors at RomanceClass.com
