I'm catching signals, but he says he wants to leave...

Visitor's Question:
There's a guy in my Science class that I met at the beginning of the year (New school, new classmates, yadda yadda...) and we've been great buddies. He's a great, fun guy and a year older than me. He buys me lunch, he hangs out with my group of friends, and once or twice, when I've been tired or had a headache, he's let me use his shoulder as a pillow and put his arm around my shoulder. When asked by a friend of mine if he might like me he replied "I don't know. I think I might."

However, he also comes from the mainland and talks about how he misses his friends. He plans to leave and go live there again at either the end of this year or next. It confuses me a bit. I'm not sure if he's interested in going out with me, or not since it feels like he's pushing me away when he talks about leaving.

Our Suggestion:
Find out how he feels by asking him out.

Better to ask than wonder.

Good luck! George
