He didn't defend me!Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Hi I broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years almost 3 months ago because he didn't defend me. Before the breakup, he called me and asked me did I wanna come over to his house and I was like sure but I asked was his mother okay with me coming over there and he said yeah. So I went over and we went into his room and looked at a movie thats all. Then his mother came in and told me to get out and never come back again. She basically talked to me like I was a slut. While that was going on, I was expecting my boyfriend to take the blame because he was the one that invited me over and plus his mother disrespected me by labling me as somone that I'm not. My boyfiend and I were planning to get married, have our own place to stay and more. After what happen, I just believed that he turned out to be somebody I thought he wouldn't be. Plus even my family don't like him either. Well for the past three months he's been trying to get me back. He's determined to get back despite of what I'll say and do. He told me that he's changing for the better but I don't know if I could trust his words again. I love him more than anything and I miss him but I just don't know what to do.My question is should I trust him and give him a another chance despite what his mother and my family think or should I continue to move on? Thanks, Lynell Our Suggestion: Each of you should have a talk with your parents. Tell them that you love each other and that they are standing in the way of a marriage and a happy live. He should get his mother to agree not to disrespect you and you should work on your family to respect him. Then, when the time comes, take his mother some roses and then go out to dinner with her at a nice restaurant. Have him do the same for your mother and family.
