so stupidSuggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: Right. Now I know that you will look at this and go ' why is she asking' but i just need another someone to tell me what they think. I really like my teacher, and before I type this, just to let you know, I know that he's my teacher and doesn't have feelings for me or anything at all like that. I KNOW that, I really do. It's just that I keep thinking it and I want to stop it. Lately, he's been talking to me a lot more in class. He touched my side the other day, while he was saying that i could do something. He actually reached out, touched my side and said ' see you can do it' He comes over and speaks to my friend, but he always jokingly slags her off and stuff. He's a really funny guy and everything, and it always makes me smile. And the other day, he said my name twice, once to get my attention, which was fair enough, but one when he stopped beside me and said 'right *my name*' And also, it seems that when he talks to me he talks softer than normal ( might just be me...) and he stands so close to me - the other day his arm was right against the side of my head - and as he was giving me my paintbrush back our hands touched. I know all of this sounds so so so stupid, and you must be thinking how stupid i am, but i just need to be told how everything could be an accident - you know, like, to be told possible reasons for him saing my name and things, and i would like to know how i can stop myself from contemplating him liking me even when i know he doesn't. Please help in any and every way you can!!! ( Thank you in advance) Our Suggestion: It isn't right for a teacher to touch a student your age. He probably is attracted to you and that is a very bad thing for a teacher to act on. Nobody can help their feelings but they control what they do about them. First pay very close attention and see if he is also touching other students and calling them by name in a soft voice. If he is doing that then you are not a special interest to him, just another student. But, if he only pays special attention to you, then you have reason to worry. What you should do in this case is to write him a note asking him not to touch you because it is putting ideas in your mind. He will know exactly what you mean and he will stop doing it. He may even answer your note telling you that he did those things by accident and that he will be more careful in the future. If he still keeps on touching you then tell your parents about it.
