Do I Have A Reason To Be Jealous?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: So here it is.. Im 18 and im in a long distance relationship with my girlfriend and shes in Alberta right now going to school and im all the way in Ontario. I realize what ive been doing which is "nagging" a lot because of some of the things she does. She likes to go out with friends and always talks about partying and what not and i feel like shes trying to make me jealous of something. It worries me a lot to think she might go out and "accidently" cheat on me with someone else. Also the reason why i nag a alot. I realize im hurting her and the relationship but im not sure what to do because i know i trust her but i cant help but think what could happen. She also told me she doesnt "care" as much anymore because of this. Should i relax and try to not worry? I just want her to love me as much as before when we were together because for some reason ive felt depressed and a little neglected. What should i do about all this? i have NO idea. Our Suggestion: She is unhappy because you don't trust her. Trust is one of the most important things in a relationship. She is trusting you by telling you what she is doing. You are only pushing her away when you act jealous about it. There is usually an automatic built-in jealousy in a long-distance relationship, but you have to work to overcome it.
