Visitor's Question: alright so me and this girl dated for a little over 10 months and at first it was great but as time went on i guess we just got sick of eachother and started fighting too much and i was too jellious of other guys talking to her. anyways, we broke up about a year and a half ago and have bearly talked since untill just last month but it's just been casual conversation. the other day she said she wanted to hang out before i went left for school so i called her a week later and we went out for coffee at first it was fine we were laughing and talking and catching up untill she told me about some guy shes been seeing on and off, i just told her simply "you gotta do what you want ya know" and after i said that it seemed like she just changed back into her old self and just really seemed like she didnt even want to be there anymore now i wasnt trying to be a jerk or anything i just didnt want her to think she was getting to me by talking about some guy do her actions somehow imply her still having feeling for me Our Suggestion: I don't think you acted like a jerk. What you said was thoughtful and true. She must have misunderstood what you meant. Maybe she thought you were telling her that you weren't interested in her. Who knows? Send her an email or contact her somehow and simply tell her that you didn't mean to offend her when you had coffee and maybe you should hang out again to talk about it. Good luck!
